Services

We provide assessment and treatment services as well as parent coaching for a range of speech-language needs

Assessment

Do you feel like your child may be talking later than peers or struggling to understand spoken words? Is their clarity of speech lower than you would expect for their age? Do you feel that they may be stuttering?

We can provide a comprehensive language, speech sound, or stuttering assessment to determine if they would benefit from additional support

Assessment is typically completed in an informal play-based setting within your home. Other options are also available, including at a mutually convenient office location within Leduc, Beaumont, or South Edmonton, or through a virtual platform.

Treatment

Together we will develop goals and discuss how to incorporate communication strategies into your daily routines.

Visits are also an opportunity for structured practice and caregiver coaching.

Goals may involve improving the foundations for early communication, encouraging expressive or receptive language, enhancing speech clarity, or fluency of speech /stuttering

Trained in the Lidcombe Approach for stuttering; fluency treatment may include components of the Lidcombe approach.

Fees

Assessment and treatment visits: $160/hour

Other fees ($160/hr):

  • Formal written assessment reports (about 3 hrs / report)

  • Informal written assessment note (about 0.5-1 hr / note)

  • Collaboration with other professionals (about 0.5-1 hr)
