My name is Maureen Walshe, practicing Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Growing Communication.

My areas of clinical interest include supporting children and caregivers with expressive and receptive language disorders and complex speech sound disorders. I am also passionate about providing client-centered stuttering services to help children continue to grow with confidence.

I completed my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta in 2010. Since that time, I have worked with children aged 12 months - 18 years within the clinic and school settings. I am a certified member of Alberta’s Association of Private Practice Speech Language Pathologists (ASAPP), and Alberta’s College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

As a mother of four kids myself, I understand the importance of kind, empathetic care and also empowering caregivers with the skills to help children thrive.

In my spare time you will find me in my cutting flower garden in the summer, and at the arena with my family in the winter.
